Mountain Valley Treatment Center - Private Program Healthcare Jobs: Hourly and Salaried Positions Available in Plainfield, NH (West Lebanon/Hanover area)


Mountain Valley Treatment Center, a nationally recognized private residential treatment program for adolescents and emerging adults with debilitating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related anxiety disorders is opening a campus in Plainfield, NH.

Mountain Valley is currently located in Pike, NH and offers specialized, short term care for clients from all over the world and will be relocating to Plainfield, NH in late Fall 2017. Our new location will allow Mountain Valley to continue to offer the latest in evidence based care for OCD and anxiety disorders.

Training will be provided at the Pike, NH campus beginning this Fall. Interested applicants for currently vacant positions may apply now to start work at the Pike campus immediately and continue on to the new location.

The following positions will be available.

Notes: Some positions that are currently available at the Pike, NH campus are labeled with a *. All full-time positions (30 or more hours per week) are eligible for medical/dental and retirement benefits.

Residential Counselors* (multiple positions) - Residential Counselors supervise and implement treatment plan goals with clients, serving as an adjunct to the clinical team. Bachelor’s degree required or 7 years of demonstrated child care experience. This is an hourly position with pay rate at $13-$15/hr. Full and part-time positions available. Specialized education and/or experience in health & wellness, yoga, art, outdoor education, and gardening/farming ideal and will warrant higher hourly rate.

Overnight Residential Counselors* (multiple positions) - These individuals are required to be awake during the overnight hours when residents are asleep, providing supervision of the dormitories and needed support from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am each night. These are hourly positions with starting rates at $12-$15/hr. Full- and part-time positions available. Note: Both residential positions identified above currently operate on a 4-shift structure. Wed to Saturday, or Sunday to Wed. Day positions are from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and afternoon/evening shifts are from 2:30 pm to 10:00 pm and currently operate on a Wed to Sat and Sun to Wed rotation. Saturday and Sunday positions are from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Primary Therapist (2 positions) - Primary therapists are licensed clinicians who case manage and provide clinical services to a caseload of 3-4 residents during their 90 day stay. Clinical services include developing and revising individual treatment plans, communication with external collaterals, providing individual, family and group therapy. Mountain Valley primarily utilizes a CBT-based modality, specifically Exposure & Response Prevention in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders. Master’s level, licensed clinician (license eligible in NH) required. Experience providing CBT for OCD and anxiety disorders preferred. This is a salaried position with starting salaries in the $50’s with exceptions for specific experience and credentials such as specific training/certification in DBT, ACT, experiential therapy, or doctoral degree.

Housekeeping Staff (2 positions) – starting pay at $13/hr. Full- and part-time positions available.

Facilities Maintenance (2 positions) – starting salary mid $30’s with exceptions based on experience and specific skills. Ideal candidates will be experienced general tradesmen with expertise in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, landscaping, etc. Salary commensurate with experience.

Transportation (Drivers, 2 positions) – part-time/as needed positions providing periodic transportation for clients to off campus medical appointments and airports. Hourly rates from $13 to $16 per hour.

Culinary Staff (2 positions) – 1 full-time and one part-time position. Responsible for sourcing, preparing and serving healthy and high quality breakfast, lunch and dinner. Coordinate with the Garden-to-Table staff to utilize on-campus grown products and support Culinary Arts curriculum with residents. Salary commensurate with experience.

With lengths of stay ranging generally between 60 to 90 days, our male and female adolescents and emerging adults receive comprehensive care from well-trained and dedicated professionals.
