Our client, a U.S. based, non-profit with an office located near Lebanon, NH is seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee all functions of its payroll department.

Responsible for payroll compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements. Maintains technical knowledge by staying current with existing and new legislation through the continental United States and territories. Leads the payroll staff to ensure biweekly payroll, government reporting, determination of payroll liabilities and internal and external audit reports are completed accurately and on time. Accurate processing of year-end tax, 403b reporting and state and federal tax forms.

Must have outstanding skills with HRIS/HRMS systems, understanding of employee and volunteer classification laws, multi-state, workers’ compensation and US territory state and local tax filings.

A CPP degree is preferred, however experience in lieu of education will also be considered and at least five years of advanced multi-state payroll experience is required. Any experience with benefits is a plus.
